Duas from the Quran and Sunnah
سْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ,

If you were asked, “What do you want most for your child?” What would your answer be?
A good education? Successful career? Happiness? Health? Piety?
There is nothing wrong with wanting any of the above or even all of them. Making dua for your children is one of the best ways to try to secure them the brightest future. As parents, there is only so much we can do. Our children’s future, just like everything else, lies in Allah’s hands. So ask Allah for everything you want for your children.
There is nothing out of bounds we Muslims can ask from Allah. Don’t feel embarrassed or shy to ask, even if it is from the Dunya (worldly life). Your duas do not have to be only for the akhirah (everlasting life after death).
“Call upon Me, and I will respond to you.“ [The Noble Qur’an, 40:60]
Dua can be made any time of the day. In private or public. Dua can be made out loud or in your heart.
Now that we know a little bit more about dua and how important it is, we can sometimes get stuck on exactly what to ask Allah for; here are some duas from the Quran and Sunnah that you can make for yourself, your children and your spouse.
