Dalgona Coffee Recipe

Fluffy and creamy coffee in less than 3 minutes

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Yes, I am two years late for this trend.

Am I the only one who wasn’t making this coffee in the first lockdown of 2020? I think I was slightly in shock and overwhelmed because of the… you know… the ‘whole world closing down’ situation.

Well, I have now tried the infamous Dalgona coffee and can confirm that I can see what all the fuss was about. It’s absolutely delicious! It tastes better than coffee made with the coffee machine. So for anyone who still hasn’t tried this delicious frothy coffee – here is the recipe.

You will need;

2 tbsp granulated sugar

2 tbsp instant coffee

2 tbsp cold water

Ice (optional)

Milk (Any milk of your choice)

Directions

In a bowl, combine sugar, coffee, and water. Use an electric whisk, and whisk for 2-3 minutes until the coffee mixture turns thick, smooth and silky and you can see stiff peaks. Fill a glass 3/4 full with ice and milk, then carefully dollop spoonfuls of the coffee mixture on top of the milk and swirl the whipped coffee mixture on top. Then serve and enjoy!
