Healthy Meal Prep Idea – Salmon Salad Bowl

Quick & Easy, Healthy Salad Recipe!

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ,

Healthy Salmon Salad Bowl

This salmon recipe is perfect for a healthy lunch, dinner or even a side dish to have on your dinner table. This is one of my favourite salad recipes. It has a citrusy dressing that balances well with the healthy and nutritious Salmon. This salad is quick and easy to prepare and you can leave it in the fridge for a few days, but you may not be able to wait for that long and want to eat it straight away.

What I love most about this salad is the salmon. Salmon has remarkable health benefits. It is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids which help maintain a healthy heart and support hormonal balance. Eating salmon also can help protect us from long term health issues like heart disease and high blood pressure. It is also great for brain function and can work as an anti-inflammatory. The health benefits are endless and it’s delicious this recipe is a perfect way to incorporate it into your diet.

Ingredients for Salmon Salad

Lettuce
Half a small red onion
Cherry tomatoes
Half a cucumber
Sweetcorn
Any Salmon of your choice

Salad Dressing

2 tbs of olive oil
2 cloves of crushed garlic
Crushed coriander
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 tsp of sea salt

The best part of making a salad is that you can alter any ingredients to suit your own tastebuds.

For this recipe– first put one piece of Salmon in the air fryer for 15 minutes at 180C.
Whilst that is cooking away prepare your salad bowl.
Place fresh lettuce in a bowl and then cover it with red onion, sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes and cucumber.
Once the fish is cooked place it next to all the other ingredients to make the perfect salmon salad bowl.

For the dressing crush together garlic and coriander. Add the Olive oil and the juice of lime and sea salt according to taste. Serve and enjoy!
